Meet Kathy Wanderer, R.N., L. Ac. Founder & Owner of Rockwall Acupuncture
Kathy Wanderer, R.N., L.Ac., is a licensed acupuncturist and registered nurse and holds a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine. She is licensed in Texas and California to practice acupuncture and herbal medicine and holds a Diplomate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
As a former clinical coordinator of the Integrative Therapies Program for Cadiothoracic Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, she helped bring therapies such as Acupuncture, Massage and Guided Imagery to cardiac surgical inpatients where she conducted pilot studies and research on the integration of these therapies, in a pioneering program in this major hospital setting. She is able to integrate Eastern and Western medical approaches in her practice as an acupuncturist and Chinese medicine herbalist, and promotes the mutual strengths of both medical systems for the benefit of her patients. She practices privately in Rockwall, Texas.
